IF in THE STATES OF. This MS15 - 1.5 hp - Johnson Outboard Boat Motor, was manufactured in 1940 & is a freshwater model. The engine weight is recorded at approximately 19 lbs. This is a 1 cylinder model. The displacement for the pistons is 2.04.
The bore for this outboard is 1.5 inches and the stroke is 1.38 inches. This engine has power steering and a rope-type starter with what appears as having Comp & does turn over freely... The ACTUAL Serial # is 375810... Description: Here we have an antique MS15 Johnson 1.5 HP outboard with Serial No.
This neat old motor has the "sausage tank" and was manufactured in 1940. This is one of the smallest outboard motors that Johnson ever produced and is rare to find in this condition. This outboard is in good condition and has been painted with silver paint in the distant past. We have not ran the motor but it spins smooth and has decent compression. The tank does show some smaller dings and dents and has some finish wear (SEE PHOTOS).
There are scattered areas of finish wear throughout but nothing major. Appears to have no broken parts and should be a great, workable motor. This fantastic, Antique Johnson MS15 Outboard is set with no reserve behind the starting price. ==== >>>>>>>>> ==== <<<<<<<<<< ====.
