This is a collection of vintage Nicson flatbottom boat steering parts that came off a boat that was parted out decades ago. These parts just came to light after being in cool, dry storage for over 30 years. You get all the parts shown including the rudder, stuffing box, and control arm as shown. The rudder appears to be a combination of steel and brass/bronze as shown. It looks to have been extended at some point and has a hairline crack at the brazed area as shown. The stuffing box and steering arm are in great shape with no breaks, repairs, or modifications. All 3 pieces are clearly cast with the Nicson name or logo as shown.
