Rare Vintage Japan Kirkhaefer Mercury Mark 78R Toy Boat Motor, Many Nice Parts

  
For sale is this rare vintage made in Japan Kirkhaefer Mercury Mark 78R battery operated toy boat motor that has a lot of excellent parts and features, but there is a connection part or gear setup missing from motor to main shaft. BE SURE TO CHECK THE PHOTOS CLOSELY AND READ THE ENTIRE DESCRIPTION. This is a toy motor with a lot of clean, sound features but does need a little attention which is why the motor was taken apart so that you could see whats here and what might be missing. The wires need to be re-soldered to the motor, the motor does work but sure it needs a serious lube. The main thing I see missing is the connection from motor to the main downward shaft, and shaft is there. A tiny screw is missing under cowl, 1 small band that holds engine cover ends together was left off but both clips included. There might be a couple other small parts gone that dont show. Very light signs of use, many parts are very clean with excellent paint, chrome engine cover is very nice, small paint chips in various spots, more around metal guard that goes around the engine frame, light marks overall but decals and markings show very well.

Front cowl is very nice with top clip intact. Prop and motor mount are fine as well. Still an excellent overall piece overall, and might be an easy fix for someone to make it complete. What you p ay is what shows as value, it's the law.
