This lower unit would be perfect for the guy who fixing up a vintage outboard and looking for a period or models correct OEM parts or for the guy who is looking for a gearcase to get that older vintage outboard back on the water. Now here's what you will get. OEM Evinrude/Johnson lower unit/gearcase assembly as shown below, OMC part #0379448(Assembly) with 0378590(Lower Gearcase) and 0378973(Upper Gearcase). Gearcase is uses the 4 spline driveshaft and measures 16 7/8 from the mount surface to the tip of the driveshaft.

Now as noted, this lower unit was pulled from a 1967 60hp Johnson and will fit a bunch of 1961 and up 60hp, 65hp 75hp, 80hp, 85hp 90hp and 100hp Evinrude and Johnson models running the two-piece gearcase.
