Vtg Ito Speed Boat Battery Operated Wood 60's Japan 16 Long For Parts/Repair

  
It measures 16 long and was made in Japan in the 1960's. The condition is only acceptable for loose unit with no box. Some pieces might be missing as I'm not sure what it was supposed to come with. Obviously the boat isn't perfect. This is best for parts or repair only.

The boat is all wood with metal top accessories, rudder and propeller. Works off 3 D batteries (not included). Battery contacts are very clean but it was NOT tested to any degree. The lights should work and the motor looks like it would work fine as there's no gunk or dust anywhere that would prevent it from spinning. Once again, though, nothing was tested and nothing is guaranteed.

The top piece is removable for access to the interior and motor. The original Ito label is on the underside of the removable top panel but it is damaged. There is some paint wear all throughout. The rudder is marked "Ito Made in Japan" and spins freely when turned by hand. I don't see any rusting or oxidation to any metal parts. It was not water tested for flotation. The removable top has a wind diffuser that's broken off. It might be able to be soldered back together, so it's being included. The boat weighs 1 lb, 1 oz. Not much else to say about it.... What you see is what you'll get. I do not charge a flat rate.
