Vintage brass boat or rat rod dash panel Nordberg Powered

  

This is obviously a vintage dash panel from a vintage boat. I have been unable to find out what boat this exactly came from but it is obviously a very special dash plate for a boat with a Nordberg engine in it. The plate may have been chrome originally but the surface was very pitted and weathered and the decision to take it down to the brass was made.

It would be an ideal candidate for rechroming. The dash is perfectly straight and is just under 10 inches across. It is just under 6 1/2 from top to bottom. The dash came with 4 gauges that were a large tach in the bottom, amperes on top, oil pressure on the left and water temp on the right. The gauges appear to be 2 1/16" for the 3 small ones and the large one is approximately 3 1/8".

I have seen a picture of only one other of these on the internet so they must be from a rare boat. If you need more pictures or info, just ask!
