Vintage Used DAH Polished Stainless 3 Blade 14 Inch Boat Propeller For Mercury
Here is a used vintage polished stainless steel 3 blade marked " DAH " boat propeller. It appears in very nice condition with just some minor light typical surface use scratching to the blades. I see no damage or repairs.
From what I have read this may be a propeller that was reworked by " DAH " rather than their propeller. It measures about 7 inches from tip of blade to mid center hole so I assume its considered a 14 inch propeller. The last number on the part number is 28 so it may be a 28 pitch but that's just a guess. The hub on one side is marked, " 10 ". The other hub is tough to read but its appears, " 48-70108-28 ".On the blades are a numbers of different marks. Crossed off with diagonal scratch marks is what appears to read, " K14U ".
It also has, " DAH " on 3 places on center hub portion of blades. In one center section of blades is marked, " 48-76108A-4 28 / DAH ". It is also marked, " K35U " on one center hub area of the blades. The auctioneer said the guy only knew it went on a Mercury engine but had no other info.
I imagine it did but can not confirm it. This propeller has a fine polished finish and weighs aprox.Please see ALL enlarged photos for best idea of condition of the item as these are a part of the description.
