Here we have a vintage 2 cable Mercury controller assembly. This controller has 14 foot cables. It was connected to a 1960 Mercury 400 40 hp outboard. It may fit other models besides that too. The wiring harness is 7 pin.

The controller actuates smoothly, and the cables are in nice condition. It is not tested beyond that.
