I'd love to talk to you. This is a survivor 1920's elto ruddertwin or light twin.

He told us stories of he and his dad taking the motor out on a lake in the 60's. Since then it sat in a storage facility and was turned over every year or so. I have a story written up by the gentleman. This was Ole Evinrude's second design which was superior to his last design (detachable rowboat motor) because unlike the rbm, this was mostly made of aluminum. This is known to be one of the rarest of Elto's due to its square tank.

As you can see in the pictures the motor is beautiful because it is in very good original condition with original steering ropes and decals! Due to its old age I can't guarantee it will start and run.

It would probably need a few gaskets. Look at the pictures carefully and use the zoom. Everything on the motor was taken apart, cleaned and either polished or painted.

The attention to detail during the restoration is exquisite. It is a piece of Americana and folk art that any guy can appreciate. I want to make sure the person who buys this motor is 100% satisfied.
