Vintage 1946 Neptune Muncie Gear Works Outboard 1.5 HP model 15B1 S# G5695
Vintage 1946 Neptune 1.5 HP outboard made by Muncie Gear Works. I have not tried to start it. But it does have 65 lbs of compression. The engine turns over freely but I think the magneto will need to be replaced because it drags a bit on the flywheel and i couldn't get any spark. The gas tank has a couple of dents in it but then again its 71 years old.
Its going to have some issues. This would make a good winter project or Christmas present. See our other items for sale.
