Restored Antique 1946 3.6 hp 1 cylinder Scott Atwater Outboard motor

  

Here we have a beautifully restored vintage 1946 3.6 hp 1 cylinder Scott Atwater. This motor is mechanically sound with good springy compression at 80 PSI and great spark.

Older restoration in great shape. 2 of the bolt bosses on the powerhead had cracked and were backed up with nuts (as shown in picture twelve), does not affect performance and is not visible with cowl on. The often missing or broken bakelite knobs are in excellent condition. Very nice example of the first year Scott Atwater 3.6 1 cylinder models.
