This is an aesthetically restored KD-4 Rocket. Mercury with all upgraded decals. It ran before I cleaned it up and aesthetically restored it but it did not run that well. As you can see in the pictures the motor is beautiful because the restoration had extraordinary attention to detail. It would need a few gaskets and a going-over. Look at the pictures carefully and use the zoom.

Everything on the motor was taken apart, cleaned and either polished or painted. The attention to detail during the restoration is exquisite. It is a piece of Americana and folk art that anyone can appreciate.
