Restored 1950s Mercury Outboard boat Motor Iron Stand display vintage outboards

  
Here we have the very desirable Mercury Cast Iron outboard motor stand with the Mercury Kiekhaefer Relief (3D) Crest. This stand has been restored and is in beautiful condition. Manufactured in the early to mid 50's. The stand was stripped, primed and painted with oil based hammered black finish, as close to what Mercury used that we could find. The crest was hand painted with oil paint.

There is a repair at the head stock. An angle iron cross brace and gusset was welded in as shown in pictures 11 & 12. The work is very good.

It actually improved the structural integrity of the head stock tremendously. It is not visible at all from the front.

For the last five years we had a 1968 135 hp Mercury with tilt and trim. Very nice stand for your display motor! Use the zoom feature on the photos for more detail.
