Pro Boat Sun Dancer PRB2100 Vintage RC Boat JR Python Radio Box 25 Project - For parts or repair only. PRB2100 / 25 / 550 motor / JR Python Radio. Large vintage Pro Boat Sun Dancer PRB2100 radio-controlled cabin cruiser/sport yacht, complete with its detailed removable cockpit/deck assembly, JR Propo Python 2-channel transmitter, internal radio-control components, display/storage stand and original illustrated retail box.

This is an impressive approximately 25-inch RC boat with considerable detail and a great late-1990s/early-2000s hobby-grade appearance. The Sun Dancer features a cream-colored hull with dark blue and red graphics, metal-look bow railings, tinted windshield, molded cabin and cockpit details, rear swim platform and working-style propeller/rudder arrangement. Especially nice is the removable upper cockpit/deck section. It incorporates the amber-tinted wraparound windshield, molded seating and lounges, simulated upholstery inserts, instrument panels and other interior details.

Removing this section provides access to the boat's motor, receiver, servo, wiring and battery compartment. JR Propo Python Radio System. Included is a JR Propo Python 2-channel digital proportional pistol-grip transmitter, model NET-112, made by Japan Remote Control Co. The transmitter retains its long telescoping metal antenna and TX3 module/crystal. The remote has not been tested but the needle jumps all the way to the right when 8 AA batteries were inserted.

The transmitter itself shows normal cosmetic wear from age and previous use. Its operational condition has not been verified. IMPORTANT - Electronics / Restoration Condition. The internal electronics and wiring require attention. As clearly shown in the photographs, there are loose/disconnected wires and connections inside the hull.

The wiring will need to be inspected, repaired/reconnected and possibly rebuilt or replaced as necessary before attempting operation. The electric drive motor is present but UNTESTED. No representation is being made that the motor operates. Likewise, the receiver, servo, transmitter and other electrical components have not been fully function-tested as an operating RC system. Some or all components may require repair, replacement, rewiring or adjustment.

Please consider the entire electrical/propulsion system untested and in need of restoration. This is therefore best suited to an RC hobbyist, vintage Pro Boat collector or someone comfortable rebuilding older radio-control equipment.

The boat presents nicely overall for its age but is used and unrestored, with cosmetic wear throughout. The hull and upper surfaces show scratches, scuffs, marks, discoloration, accumulated dirt and other evidence of previous use and long-term storage. The cream-colored plastic has areas of age-related discoloration. The removable cockpit/deck insert is included and retains its amber-tinted windshield, molded seating, instrument-panel graphics and numerous interior trim details.

It shows dirt, staining, discoloration and general age/storage wear, including noticeable soiling on the underside. The exterior graphics remain attractive, including the large Sun Dancer script on both sides, dark blue hull stripe and red accent stripe.

The radio-control electronics are not guaranteed operational. This would make an excellent restoration candidate because so many of the important original components remain together, including the large detailed boat, removable cockpit, JR Python transmitter, receiver, motor, steering components, stand and original box. Please review the photographs carefully for the exact cosmetic condition, components present and current state of the internal wiring.
