This Mercury gear case is brand new in the box. This is an original brand new old stock factory Mercury part, not aftermarket. The drive shaft measures approx 17 3/4 from the tip to the case. The drive shaft and prop shaft both have 11 splines. This lower unit fits some Vintage Mercury Mark outboards with 30-55 hp from the late 1950's and 1960's.
